More visual candy. These animations are computer generated. Most of them are done by splicing together frames generated by shifting the color tables. This effect could easily by attained by tweaking the SVGA pallette registers on an old computer, but the old systems generally don't have so many image viewing options.

The scenary gifs add weather to a photograph. The fractals come from Newton Raphson approximations to log(z) .. i.e. solve exp(z) = w and also Newton-Raphson inversion of Bessel functions.
