1965-69 Took parts 1A,1B, 2 and 3 of Maths Tripos.
    St. John's College, Cambridge. Obtained BA (class I) in 1968.

1970-71 Worked at Chelsea College of Science & Technology.
    Published jointly with Dr. S. Lal.
    "A Computer Program to simulate the retina & visual pathways".

1977-78 International Computers Ltd, Kidsgrove UK.
    Obtained a merit award for a study predicting the use of ICL
terminals in the retail sector. The National lottery arrived a few years
later.

1978-80 Genie Automatique Informatique. Bagneux, Paris, France.
    Worked on producing economic modelling and market research
software to run on PR1ME computers. Supervised other programmers.
The project used FORTRAN.

1981-83 Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC). Jeddah, KSA
    Worked on a process control computer in a power station.
    Undertook programming training for a group of Saudi engineers.

1983-85 Sahaviraya Infortech Computer (SIC) Bangkok, Thailand
    First Laptop computer project. EPSON HX-20. Also created bilingual
Thai English spreadsheet, THAICALC. Demo programs for NEC 7220 Graphics
chip. Hailstone Numbers & Collatz Conjecture for the masses. Hyatt Plaza.
I also trained some people in business computing.

1986-88 Academy of Educational Development,  Washington DC. USA
    Worked on contract for King Saud University. Developed English-
Arabic user interface, bit-mapped with windowing drivers.

1989    Ei-BULL, Nis, Serbia, Jugoslavia
    Worked on a specification of Geographical Information systems.
    YUGOTID touch terminal project. Hypertext browser written in C.

1990-92 CYBERVISION, Buffalo NY 14213, USA
    Colour science applications. Written in C for SUN/SPARC.

1992-1994 QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY of BELFAST
    Managed database for Dept. of General Practice. INGRES/SQL
    Survey covered 150000, or about 10% of N.I. population

1996-98          CONSULTANT
    Occassional unpaid research into artificial intelligence.
    Attempted to publicise software business.
